The update was delayed because I was so exhausted yesterday that I fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed.

On the first workday after the long weekend, we had yet another meeting to set some goals. Honestly, without these meetings, things might get done faster and more smoothly. That said, I didn’t prepare anything specific for this meeting. After all, my takeaway from last year was that finishing tasks early just means getting assigned new ones earlier.

Work is essentially about selling our time, so it’s better to move forward steadily at our own pace. The key is to minimize the side effects that require fixing later on.

Even if others don’t recognize the value, we still need to hold on to what matters to us.
