EcoPaste -Open source clipboard management tool for MacOS and Windows platforms

Github

Background of development

Because most clipboard applications on the market either charge fees or have limited functions and cannot meet my needs, I decided to develop a new clipboard application by myself to solve these problems. My goal is to create a clipboard tool with comprehensive functions, convenient operation, free of charge and supporting multiple platforms (a bigwig in Linux is working hard to adapt), so as to meet the diverse needs of users.

Introduce

Using Tauri for construction makes the application more compact and exquisite, with extremely little resource occupation. At the same time, it is perfectly adapted to Windows and MacOS platforms, ensuring a consistent user experience across multiple platforms.

The application runs residently in the background and can be awakened with one click through a custom shortcut key, helping users quickly access clipboard contents and greatly improving work efficiency.

Image description

Local storage, information security

All clipboard contents are stored locally to ensure data privacy and security, without any risk of data leakage.

Image description

Automatic pasting, enhancing efficiency

Built-in automatic pasting function. When users copy content, it can automatically paste the content to the target position, reducing manual operations and
enhancing work efficiency.

Image description

Collection function, quick access

Supports collecting clipboard contents for convenient quick access and management of important information. Whether it's critical data at work or commonly used information in daily life, it can be easily collected and viewed.

Picture OCR, offline recognition

Built-in system OCR function supports text and QR code recognition. Quickly copy the recognized OCR content through the right-click menu to achieve offline recognition, making it more convenient to use.

Image description

Supports exporting and importing configuration items as well as clipboard contents to facilitate data backup and migration to different platforms, ensuring continuous availability of data.

Provides detailed configuration options. Users can freely set and adjust the application effect to create a personalized usage experience and meet different scenarios and needs.

More functions await your exploration

EcoPaste is still continuously being developed and adding more interesting practical functions.
