got Tired of analysis paralyysis so i built an extensioon to get into flow faster

I wanted to share something Iā€™ve been working on that might help if youā€™ve ever struggled to get started on your work. For me, the hardest part of being productive wasnā€™t the actual workā€”it was getting those first few minutes done.
Iā€™d spend too much time setting everything up: writing tasks down in a notes app, copying them into a to-do list builder, and then setting a timer on YouTube or Google. These little steps added up, and by the time I was ready to start, Iā€™d already lost focus or motivation.

I realized I needed something simpler. A tool that lets you skip all the setup and just get to work. Thatā€™s why I built TaskQueue, a Chrome extension that combines task management and focus timers into one simple tool.

Whatā€™s Available Now?
Right now, TaskQueueā€™s free version includes:

Task Management: Quickly add as many tasks as you need, with descriptions and tick boxes for tracking.

Preset Focus Timers: Timers are ready to goā€”choose 25, 60, or 90 minutes for Pomodoro sessions or deep work.

Night Mode: A clean, distraction-free interface for late-night productivity.

Itā€™s a minimal tool built for people like me who want to focus more and set up less.

Whatā€™s Next?
Iā€™m currently working on the next version of TaskQueue, which will include new features:

Recurring Tasks: Automate repetitive tasks so you donā€™t forget them.

Subtasks: Break down larger tasks into smaller, actionable steps.

Batch Add Tasks: Quickly create multiple tasks at once.

Productivity Streaks: Stay motivated by tracking your consistent focus over time.

These features will launch as part of a premium version soon, and Iā€™m thinking of offering both a monthly and yearly pricing option.

Why Iā€™m Sharing This
I mainly wanted to share what Iā€™m working on, but Iā€™d also love to hear your thoughts:

Whatā€™s the hardest part of getting started on your work?

What features do you wish productivity tools had?

What do you think is fair pricing for the premium version?

If TaskQueue sounds like something youā€™d find useful, feel free to check it out and let me know what you think! Itā€™s completely free to start, and your feedback will help shape what it becomes.

Hereā€™s the link: TaskQueue on the Chrome Web Store.

Thanks for reading, and Iā€™d love to hear your thoughts!

Hey everyone,

As someone whoā€™s always trying to do more with less, I recently took a hard look at my work setup and realized how complicated Iā€™d made things. I had a notes app for writing down tasks, a to-do list app for organizing them, and a separate timer on YouTube or Google to track my focus sessions. The process became its own task, and it often kept me from actually starting my work.

Thatā€™s when I decided to simplify things. I built TaskQueue, a Chrome extension that combines task management and focus timers into one place. No extra apps, no distractionsā€”just the essentials to get started quickly and stay on track. If youā€™re curious, you can check it out here: TaskQueue on the Chrome Web Store.

Here are a few things Iā€™ve learned about simplifying workflows:

Fewer Tools, More Focus: Having one tool for multiple tasks saves time and reduces friction.

Presets Save Time: Using preset timers (e.g., 25, 60, or 90 minutes) removes the need to fiddle with settings.

Start Small: Writing down one actionable task at a time makes it easier to begin, even on tough days.

Iā€™d love to hear from you:

How do you approach digital minimalism in your work setup?

Are there any tools or habits that have helped you focus better with less?

Thanks for reading! Iā€™m always looking for new ideas to improve my workflow and mindsetā€”letā€™s share and learn together. šŸ˜Š
