Managing multiple versions of Node.js can be frustrating if you don’t have a quick way to install the needed version, especially across different OS platforms.

Thankfully, nvm (Node Version Manager) supports Unix, MacOS, and WSL for managing Node.js versions efficiently.

Initially, I thought of writing a lot, but here has everything you need and more 😥😥

Run this command in the terminal:

curl -o- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nvm-sh/nvm/v0.39.7/install.sh | bash

Or

wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nvm-sh/nvm/v0.39.7/install.sh | bash

Then, run:

export NVM_DIR="$([ -z "${XDG_CONFIG_HOME-}" ] && printf %s "${HOME}/.nvm" || printf %s "${XDG_CONFIG_HOME}/nvm")"
[ -s "$NVM_DIR/nvm.sh" ] && \. "$NVM_DIR/nvm.sh" # This loads nvm

Done. Now, use nvm install node to install the latest version or nvm ls to view available Node.js versions.
