If you are looking to host a website, whether that be built with React or WordPress, you need a few things: mainly a domain and a server to host your website on and point your domain to.

But you will also probably want a few things... like email, FTP server, DNS management, SSL certificate management. In the case of WordPress you will NEED things like database management and PHP.

There is a very cost effective solution and it is a control panel. If you do some googling you will find companies like Host Gator, Site Ground and Blue Host offering what is commonly referred to as "WordPress hosting" or "Shared hosting" which gives you access to their servers and a CPanle instance which is one of the most popular control panels on the market.

This is a wonderful solution if you are hosting one, maybe two websites. If you need additional control over the server, start to manage more websites or need more resources to run your website it may be beneficial to move away from Shared hosting and consider renting space on a VPS.

If you decide to take this route, now you probably want a control panel on your VPS too. You may think why not host my own CPanel? Well it costs money... Most of these control panels charge to use their software, a cost that the Shared hosting providers pass on to you as the customer, and this can be a large cost to eat by yourself on your own VPS.

So what is the solution? CyberPanel!

My favorite solution is Cyber Panel! This is because out of the box it gives me all of the features I need to run my websites:

• DNS record management (with ClodFlair sync)
• One Click WordPress install
• Database management
• FTP server
• Auto management of SSL Certificates with Let's encrypt.

It allows me to host an unlimited number of websites, domains and email accounts all for FREE.

If you are not familiar with Linux or servers in general, popular VPS providers allow you to install it when you purchase your VPS and will install Cyber panel for you!

So how does CyberPanel make money?

Well CyberPanel has a managed hosting platform where you can host your CyberPanel instance with them. They also charge for additional features and plugins. However out of the box CyberPanel gives you everything you need to host your website and offers all of the most commonly used features, that other free panels may not offer.

Overall I have not found any other FREE control panel that has been as easy to work with as CyberPanel and met all of my needs! I would highly recommend CyberPanel to anyone who is looking to host their own control panel.
